INSPIRATIE<\/strong> Muziek is mijn grootste inspiratiebron. Van jongs af aan speel ik piano, zing en dans ik, het liefst in het theater. Ik studeer af in de Franse taal-en letterkunde, ga naar de Toneelschool in Antwerpen en besluit al snel mijn eigen weg te gaan. Verschillende rollen in muziektheaterproducties volgen en in 2008 realiseer ik mijn eerste solovoorstelling Ik Bemin<\/em><\/strong>, met subsidie van het Amsterdams Fonds voor de Kunst, regeling Nieuwe Makers 2008. Kort daarna volgt een auto ongeluk waardoor ik lange tijd niet kan spelen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

GEBAANDE PADEN<\/strong> Ik rond drie coachopleidingen af en ontwikkel trainingen op het gebied van expressie en veerkracht. Ik werk 10 jaar in verschillende functies bij oa. Penguin Books, Atma Instituut en Tio University of Applied Sciences. Ik bekwaam me verder als HBO docent Frans, Engels schrijven en Communicatie. Het wonder van een scooter ongeluk brengt mij in 2018 weer terug bij mijn eerste liefdes: muziek, schrijven, spelen, zwarte vloer, spotje erop.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

NIEUWE WEGEN <\/strong>Na een schrijfretraite in Esalen, California neem ik de sprong terug naar het podium met een nieuwe aanpak. In plaats van een jaar (of langer) aan \u00e9\u00e9n voorstelling te werken, begin ik nu met het uitproberen van sc\u00e8nes die ik vervolgens samenvoeg tot een organisch geheel. De eerste try-out ‘Odes aan de Dood’ vindt plaats in oktober 2019 bij Open Bac, Betty Asfalt Amsterdam. De tweede try-out ‘Prends ma main’ volgt in 2022, dit keer op een open podium in Parijs, in mijn geliefde taal. In 2026 verwacht ik mijn nieuwe voorstelling op de planken te brengen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
